Islamabad, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News -26th July, 2025) Senator Talha Mahmood on Saturday launched a two -day free tone at the beginning of the Campian Camp at the National Press Club (NPC) Al -Shifa Trust I Hospital, Rawalpindi. The initiative aims to provide free eye care services to NPC members and their families from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on 26-27 July.
Senator Talha Mahmood inaugurated the camp, appreciated the NPC leadership and the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), the president of Afzal butt, with efforts to organize free systems with modern facilities.
He said, “Organizing a camp-free world class medical facilities for NPC members and their families clearly reveals the leadership committee of media professionals,” he said.
On the occasion, PFUJ President, Afzal Butt, said that arrangements for such facilities to convenience memories in this surgical camp are a major achievement of NPC President Jetoi, secretive Nayar Ali, Finance Secretary Waqar Abbasi and others.
In this camp, all facilities are available to members and their families under one roof and are free from cost, he said.
Meanwhile, NPC President Azhar Jetoi also praised the services provided by the expert medical team.
He highlighted the increasing spread of issues of vision in this modern digital age.
“Vision problems are very common due to the use of mobile phones and computers, which affects their vision,” he does.
He said that journalists often neglected their own health due to reporting professional program. By organizing this camp, the NPC gets access to essential eye care for its members and their families.
Free eye examination, medicines, glasses, laboratory services and laser surgery in the camp suffer from white cataracts for media workers.
On the initial day, the members of the members received these services free of cost, where surgical enventures were needed.
