Coin half n ° 1 Kader Kohou, who impressed in the camp, suffered a leg injury and had to leave training. The good news is that he was able to move away from his own power, but Kohou suffering from all kinds of significant injury would damage the secondary unit even more.
The dolphins were set to sign half a corner of the veteran free agent, but the team took its time to do so. They chose to bring the former Patriots of New England and the corner of the Raiders of Las Vegas Jack Jones.
Jones was a signature that was to occur, since the team lost Burns for the season.

The corner room is now made up of Jones and Storm Duck, Cam Smith, Kendall Sheffield and Jason Marshall Jr. With Kohou undergoing an injury, the team could also have re -evaluated the current unit even more.
The dolphins were attached to Rasul Douglas, Asante Samuel Jr., James Bradberry and Stephon Gilmore, and had apparently sent an offer to Douglas, who did not move to Miami.
Now the Dolphins will have to take easy things with Kohou, who may have suffered an injury that could keep him away for weeks. It is only speculation, because he could still leave the ground itself.
Miami has many question points before the 2025 season, one being the skill of the secondary group. The team chose to exchange Jalen Ramsey to Pittsburgh steelers in exchange for Minkah Fitzpatrick, which was a solid business.
Fitzpatrick now replaces Jevon Holland, who joined the New York Giants. This still does not help secondary in terms of having another corner of starting caliber like Kohou.
With Jack in the building, the team obtained a major boost in terms of having another starter in front of Kohou. Jack appeared in 17 games and started 16 for raiders in 2024.
Jack abandoned eight affected, which is a major concern, but he also posted a percentage of completion of 62.8 and a note of 98.5 switch to opposing quarters. These are not the worst statistics of the world, and he could flourish under the defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver.
For the moment, dolphins will have to wait and see the severity of Kohou’s injury. If this is important, they may want to explore the addition of another veteran alongside Jack.
