Faith and justice are three pillars on which democracy stands. But if one of them is shaken, then the entire building starts eating. The So -Cleed Special Amendment Campaign of the electoral role in Bihar is a silent conspiracy to open these columns. It will be equivalent to stealing eyes from the truth for administrative cleaning or technical process. This process is not only a voter list, but a systematic attack on the rights of the people, which directly takes us to the question whether elections in India are really free and fair or now all of it revolves around a specific political interest under a planned scheme? The symbolic opposition of the opposition in Parliament against the “Special Intention Invention” (SIR) campaign in Bihar indicates this fundamental concern. On Friday, Congress President Malkarjan Kharghe, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and others protested against the opposition. Not limited, but it belongs to the entire system of choice.
There is talk of removing 61 million names from the voter list in Bihar alone, out of which 52 million are being reported which were allegedly not available at their address and the other 18 million has been confirmed. If these numbers are accepted, the question is how the verification process was done? Does the absence of 11 documents, including neither Aadhaar nor PAN card, voter citizenship and identity, cannot only be present? It is darkness that relieves people’s confidence.
Rahul Gandhi emphasized that the Congress has black and white evidence of how votes were stolen in Maharashtra and Karnataka. According to him, a specific Lok Sabha set test in Karnataka was found in the list of voters on a large scale and his party highlighted the system by bringing the voter list into a digital format. If this allegation is true, then the question is not only on the head, but on the intention and rights of the entire Election Commission.
On the other hand, the defense of the Election Commission also appeared weak and purely wrapped in a purely official language. Chief Election Commissioner Gianish Kumar says that fake voters should be allowed to remain in the list. There is an argument that is trying to cover the root of the problem. No conscious citizen will support fake voters, but the question is whether the real voters are not being quietly out as fake? The Congress and their allies feared that minorities, Dalits, backward and poor classes were being targeted, not only a political slogan. If this practice in Bihar is completed without any independent monitoring, this formula can be repeated in other states and democracy can be converted into a lifeless body, which will have a breath, but can be taken away.
The severity of the case can also be ascertained from the fact that Indiablock has started considering the boycott of Bihar assembly elections. Congress, Tejashwi Yadav and other leaders are unanimously acknowledging that the current form of Sir is a conspiracy under which the BJP is preparing its voter list. If this allegation is true, then the legal and moral status of the upcoming elections should also be questioned.
Democracy is a living system, but its spirit is in the right to parliamentary debate, transparent election and vote. If the votes are taken away, if the voters are quietly cut off and if the lists are ready on a political agenda, the election will be just a constitutional spectacle.
