The Lahore waste management company (LWMC) has launched a cleanliness drive for Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for Sutra Punjab.
Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 25th July 2025) The Lahore waste management company (LWMC) has launched a cleanliness drive for Sutra Punjab in terms of Lahore Railway Start Sharif.
For sources of LWMC here on Friday, special attention is being paid to Lahore railway station, which is a major transit point for nearby angels. LWMC CEO Babar Sahib Deen said that the company had introduced top-pay cleaning facilities at Lahore railway station.
Due to agreeing with Lahore railway station, LWMC had deployed 5 observers and 105 workers under the supervision of area manager, who were working in three shifts to ensure round-the-clock cleans, sources said.
The LWMC sanitation team was responsible for cleanliness platforms, reservation areas, waiting halls, washrooms, parking lots, railway tracks and nearby stations.
Regular washing of platforms and tracks was also being done during day and night shift.
The Community Mobilization Wing of LWMC organized an awareness campaign at the railway station to highlight the importance of cleanliness among passengers.
The drive included distributing educational materials and to conduct awareness to attach citizens and emphasize their role in maintaining a clear city.
LWMC’s social mobilizer teams were also operating awareness drives in various parks, door-to-door operations, markets and other public sectors.
They integrate, which aims to create a sense of moral responsibilities among the residents so that they can clearly display their city by properly displaying.
