Luke Liller Betfrade is in the semi-finals of the World Match play after stopping Andrew Golding to claim a 16-14 victory in the Winter Gardens.

The world champion never left behind, but to clean up the gliding, 103.91 average and 18 maximum was fired, which runs out of the tournament in the quarter -finals for the second consecutive year.

Liller dropped the opening three sessions and briefly opened the advantage of five legs, just to find 72 checkouts on Bliss for gliding and finish 160 as part of three straight leg race.

World No. 2 set a new record for the 180s in the World Match play quarter -finals on the way to hold the throw in the next, then responded to the top 81 and 127 completion to win the dramatic victory in the 30th leg.

After Liller, either Josh Rock or Garvin Price faces, who later play on Friday night, while Jonny Clayton and James Wade completed Saturday’s semi -final lineup.
