Two people were shot dead in a student housing complex at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque on Friday and the suspect remains in general “and can still be on campus,” said the university.
One victim was killed and the other suffered injuries not putting his life in danger, the university said.

The university ordered students to take shelter in place.
“By an abundance of prudence, the UNM has closed its central albuquerque campus,” said the university on social networks.
