Lodhran, (Urdupoint / Pakistan Point News – 24th July, 2025) was organized by the District Health Authority Lodharan for the upcoming human papillomavirus (HPV) and Khasra -Rubela (MR) holiday campaign, District Health Authority Lodharan for Mary Nawaz Nawaz Health Clinic and Health Managers of Medical Officers.
The session was held as part of the preparation for district-wide HPV and MR vaccination drives, which was to protect children, especially girls between 9 and 14 years of age, cervical cancer-like and life-threatening.
The session was led by Dr. Riyaz Hussain, District Health Officer (Preventive Service), and Dr. Omar Iqbal, the district EPI focal person. The authorities guided HPV vaccine, essential security protocols, micro-placing techniques and effectiveness of strategies to run effective awareness campaigns at community level.
Dr. Riyaz Hussain said that HPV vaccination was a foundation for a health sociality. “The role of our medical officers in mobileing and education was common for the success of this campaign.” Dr. Omar Iqbal said that the vaccine was a guarantee of a safe future for our daughters. “We should dedicate our complete energy and commitment to the success of the campaign.”
Participants were advised to organize a committing session in their response, they are citizens about the importance of vaccines and this adventure.
