I want to talk to you about one of the mistakes discovered by you, which job hunters often make way that simply ticks people. There is one here.
You see an advertisement. You answer this. And your response says, “Tell me about the job.”
Tell me more about the job? You are applying for a situation. I am going to tell you more about the job. Helping to understand how it works for me? Apart from this, you take a lot of time.
Start by telling me how you are eligible for a job and I should give my time to talk with you.
“Tell me more about the job,” a ridiculous question. No one starts again. For all I know that you are in Senegal and you are eager because you want to come to America. I don’t know anything about you and I want to write you a personal letter? I don’t think so.
Ask people to tell about the job. Tell them about yourself first and then say, “I would love to know more. Can we set time to speak?”
This is the best way to do.
