The disease is neither new, nor stranger, but the intensity and noise on the global scenario in 2025 shook medical experts, governments and global institutions. Chikunguniya is a name that seems simple to hear, but in its legs, harassment is that the patient has not been tied for years, sometimes for years. Now the disease has reached the areas where its name was once stranger. The latest warnings that the World Health Organization (WHO) has released about its spread, it is not just a information, but a threat to the public. Then he is raising his head in 2025. Since the beginning of this year, there has been rapidly spread to islands such as outbreaks, reunion, mawatt and Mauritius, and it is estimated that only one -to -talk population has been affected in reunion. This is not just data, but a worrying warning, which indicates that if effective measures are not taken on time, chicken guinea can risk millions of people globally.
Although the early symptoms of chicken guinea are clearly similar to dengue or zika virus, its main symptoms include high fever and severe pain in joints. This severe joint pain is an anger on the patient, which does not leave the patient behind for a long time. In African language, chicken guinea in Maconde means “doubled with pain”, due to its significant and painful symbol, the name was given to the disease. Because once a person falls under the virus, it is not cured for months. According to the World Health Organization Dianas Rosas Alwarz, Chicken Guinea has so far spread to 119 countries around the world, and it is estimated that more than 5.6 billion people are at risk of virus. Thus, more than half of the world’s population has come to some level. As far as India is concerned, the situation is not as satisfactory as a paper report. According to the National Center for Vector Borne Dissever, 30,876 suspected cases of Chicken Guinea were registered across the country during 2025, out of which only 741 were medically confirmed medically. Although this total number does not seem very worrying, its outbreak is a matter of great concern in some states. Maharashtra reported the highest 9,109 suspected cases, of which 592 were confirmed. Of the 8,892 cases in Karnataka, 238 and 242 cases were regularly confirmed in Tamil Nadu. In contrast, not a single certified case has been reported, such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Dadrao Nagar Haveli, which is a welcome aspect, but the situation may not be completely satisfied.
The fact is that chicken guinea is not only a viral disease, but also a complex environmental and administrative challenge, which is inspired by negligent, poor municipal system and lack of hygiene. During the rainy season, the accumulation of water on roads, palaces and houses, water in junk, timely changes of water in coolers, these are the conditions that Aides Edge and Edis L. Mosquitoes such as bopts become a heaven, and these mosquitoes become a great source of chicken. The question is whether our urban institutions, panchayats, municipalities and people themselves take this serious issue seriously? The sad fact is that this deficiency of consciousness opens the doors of the outbreak. What has happened so far in the name of mosquito campaigns and cleanliness in India has been mostly limited to temporary, indiscriminate and only formal operations. Every year after the rainy day, when there is a minor outbreak of Boba in one area, patients are tied to hospitals, temporary counters are installed and “war” of “war” against media is made. But as the weather crotch changes, not only the noise stops, but the slight resonance of the danger stops. This attitude is actually the biggest root of this problem.
The World Health Organization has warned that Chicken Guinea is again, but most developing countries have failed to take the danger seriously. There is a deep connection between climate change and health, its effect is clearly felt on diseases like chicken guinea. Experts say the rising temperature and air moisture is providing a suitable environment for the development of “tiger mosquitoes” (AIDS L. Bopts), which has now reached mosquitoes. This mosquito is more active during the day, especially in the morning and evening. In such a case, it is not only important for the government, but everyone should consider their responsibility. Prevention of mosquito prevention, not only sprays, mosquitoes, water and allowing garbage and utensils can prevent the spread of the disease.
The mortality rate of chicken guinea is less than one percent, but when the number of patients is millions, it can cause thousands of deaths. The World Health Organization is constantly warning, but many states are still prisoners of behavior such as “it’s not here”. This negligence can be dangerous. It is necessary that governments take practical steps rather than paper reports and claims and take precautionary measures without waiting for the disease. Cleanliness should not be made not only a campaign but a habit. This virus reminds us that the deadliest enemy is one who does not see, but we disintegrate quietly.
If we still don’t care, this silent knock of chicken guinea can turn into a serious crisis. Every enemy should not be seen in the form of bullets or ammunition, sometimes it is also hidden in a mosquito bite. Time is required that we take precautionary measures on time instead of reacting to the news, otherwise the coming outbreaks will not give us a chance to handle it.
