Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) For Housing and Urban Development, Punjab Minister Bilal Yasin chaired the Ant meeting at the Headquarters of Poonab Clean Authority on Saturday, which for the purpose of cleaning the drinking water for the purpose of cleaning the drinking water across the province and finalizes the next initiative.
The minister was dissolved on a sensible scheme by Chief Executive Officer Neveda Ahmed, which includes the establishment of 963 new water filtration plants in various districts of Punjab. This initiative is designed to provide safe and clean drinking water to the underschief and rural areas spy and provide safe and clean drinking water.
Housing Minister Bilal Yasin announced that with special attention to Pothohar region in South Punjab and North, ground work will be done on several water supply schemes. The project will also be painted two surface water treatment plants, which will use Smalm as a permanent water source.
Additional clean water initiative is being planned for Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur and other districts of southern Punjab.
Highlighting the commitment of the Punjab government for public welfare, the minister insisted that in the process of all the provisions, sustainable, transparency and merit would be the guide prince. He reiterated that ensuring equal accessable drinking water is the top priority of the provincial leadership.

The meeting was also attached by Director General (Operations and Maintenance) Zohab Butt and Director General (Projects) Aamir Khaliq, who provided updates on technical and logical aspects of Initiative.
