Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) The Emergency Services Department (ESD) responded to 1,422 road traffic crash (RTC) in all 37 districts of Punjab during the last 24 hours.
These incidents climbed on the lives of 9 persons and injured 1,671. Among the total injuries, 697 suffered serious injuries and were transferred to various hospitals, which assisted 974 victims with minor injuries immediately average average status on the spot to save 1122 teams, helping the burden on hospitals.
Spokesperson, an important majority, 77 percent, accidents included motorbikes, which exposed the immediate need for strict enforcement of traffic rules and better lane discipline.
The victims consisted of 912 drivers, among them 61 underege drivers, along with 160 pedestrians and 608 passengers.
Lahore reported the most accident, with 274 accidents affected 341 people, followed by Multan 99 accidents and 110 victims, and Faisalabad with 95 crash and 108 victims.
A total of 1,680 people were affected by these accidents, including 1,337 males and 343 women. The distribution of aging showed that 309 victims were less than 18, 900 were between 18 and 40 years old, and above 471 40. Auto-rickshaws, 18 vans, 15 passenger buses, 27 trucks and 120 other vehicles include slow carts.
ESD Urad strictly followed traffic laws to drive the public responsibly and to help reduce the dangerous rate of road accident in the province.
