“Where did you get that rug ??” Is one of those questions that I am asked the most often. The first major purchase of the rugs was the decoration item that I started collecting when transferred to my first apartment. Below you will find my favorite places to browse and buy the rugs (out of which I am almost always). There is a wide variety of brands, price points and styles represented below for several reasons.
Even if you plan to buy more budget -friendly rugs, I still recommend browsing browsing brands with rugs at all price points. In my experience, what is available from different designers and at different stores, being familiar with it is one of the best ways to know your style and what you are doing the most. I have found that if I highlight myself to unique and interesting pieces, even if they are out of my price range, I easily learn to choose great pieces at stores with points of low -price points.
Right now I have my favorite places to buy rugs.
1. Lulu and Georgia
I love what Lulu and Georgia are doing with their rug cooperation. Sarah Sharman Samuel Collection is prestigious! With the checkerboard rug we have in our current house, we had one of the rugs from this collection in our main bedroom in our previous house and loved it.
2. Chair
Chairish is a place that I like to browse of rug styles, even if most of my price is out of the limit. On a rare occasion, I will offer a loball – I also said that the proposal already accepted (the vintage in the family room is from the chairs, as the entryway has a vintage rug)! They still spend one hand and one leg, but they are always pieces from a prestigious site. Keep in mind that the Chairish Return Policy is very strict, so if you buy one here and do not like it, you have only forty -eight hours to submit your return.
3.
Loloi is a wonderful source for the budget-friendly and child friendly (or pet-friendly!) Asanas. They carry asanas in a lot of gorgeous styles, no matter the taste of your personal design. We have used them in areas where we know that children and dogs will work hard or be more likely to spread.
4. Annie Sailke
Annie Selkes carried super high quality rugs for modern and traditional places. I love punch color and graphic prints. We found an Annie Selke runner (depicted above) to our basement cooking, and mixed several asanas as a runner for our basement stairs. We also had this mini-checked rug in our house for many years.
5. EBay
I love eBay for deals you can find if you are ready to be patient and or interact. I bought a Swedish Kilim runner from eBay for hallway for my bedroom (painted above).
6. Ecatpetgaili
Ecarpetgallery is a great source for vintage rugs at deep discounts. We have rugs from this store in the office and my office/library. This is usually my first stop to see if I have found a style on a site with more expensive pieces, available here at a lower price point. They often update the inventory and sell throughout the year, so this place is worth placing on your radar.
7. Nordic knots
Nordic knots bear the rugs in solid colors and graphic patterns that are made in relatively small batches. There are two asanas from here – a red rug (painted on top of this post) in the dining room and a cream rug in the main bedroom (painted above). One thing is expected that these rugs have an excuse for the first few months, so you may need to take into account additional vacuuming.
