690 people involved in cybercrime fraud during four months

Islamabad:

The National Cybercrime Agency has arrested 690 people involved in Cybercrime Fraud in four months.

Since April, an investigation has been initiated on 7,247 complaints in NCCIA.

According to spokesperson NCCIA, FIRs were registered in 457 cases, while 22 cases were sentenced by courts.

Lakhs of rupees were recovered from people involved in cyber crimes under the guise of foreign call centers.
