49ers attract the attention of the large -free free agent receiver

With the current training camp, the 49ers of San Francisco hope to return to the compression of the Super Bowl. After missing the playoffs last season and having been prey to injuries, the 49ers want to imitate their success two years ago when they took place in the Big Game.

Unfortunately, in this Super Bowl, San Francisco could not defeat Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs of Kansas City.

One of the large questions with which the 49ers are faced with the position of the wide receiver.

Deebo Samuel was one of the great subtractions of the offseason. San Francisco exchanged it in a big blow to the commanders of Washington.

The list on the list is Brandon Aiyuk, Ricky Pearsall, Jauan Jennings and Demarcus Robinson as the first four options. While the 49ers have good players in this position, Aiyuk always returns from a torn ACL and they don’t have much depth.

To this end, it is possible that John Lynch can consider taking a step to bring another wide receiver.

A name has shown interest in signing with San Francisco.

The former Buffalo Bills and the Jacksonville Jaguars receiver, Gabe Davis, were opened on his interest in the 49ers. During an appearance in the “Up & Adams Show”, Davis spoke of San Francisco.

“San Fran is definitely a place I look at,” Davis said. “Shanahan is the man. He knows how to call an offense. They just had a lot of big weapons there … Certainly a team that interests me because I like to be with great players.”

Last season with the Jaguars, Davis played 10 games. He captured 20 passes for 239 yards and two affected. In 2023 with the Bills, however, he accumulated 45 catches for 746 yards and seven affected.

Davis has always been known as a deep threat. With Brock Purdy under the center, it could be a big addition for the 49ers. The addition of another threat of large game could be what takes the offensive in the next stage.

Bringing weapons more quality for a quarter of franchise like Purdy is always a wise decision. Davis is clearly interested in the opportunity. Lynch should seriously consider it.
