Islamabad:
In various courts of the Competition Commission, the decrease in logs supported by 40 % of pending cases decreased from 567 to 223.
As a result of cases, Rs 36 crore was recovered in fine.
The back log in the Appellate Tribunal decreased by 58 %, 121 cases were heard. The pending cases in the Apple Tribunal were only 89.
The Lahore High Court made 39 decisions, which reduced the back -leg by 78 %. The Sindh High Court ruled on the 40 cases verdict, which reduced the back log by 61 %. The Islamabad High Court settled 13 cases, which reduced the back log by 43 %.
The Supreme Court handed over 11 cases to the important decision. The Supreme Court Competition connects 171 cases related to the jurisdiction of the Commission.
According to the Supreme Court, the Competition Commission can get information from any company for review. The Competition Commission does not need to justify for information.
