Adam Susanon made a monster Eagle Pit in the 18th to complete the open record opening round of 60 meters and took a two shot lead against Sam Stevens and Thorbjourn Olson.
Susanon also made nine birds and did not shoot in the lowest round in the seven -year history of the tournament. He tied the TPC Twin City Course record set by Paul Guidos in the 2017 3M Championships at the PGA Tour Champions.
Chris Gutter Up, who finished third at the British Open last week and won the Scottish Open two weeks ago, returned three shots with Chad Ramey and Matty Shams. Zack Blair, Chris Kirk, Jack Canop and Brandon Walds were shot dead, and Ricky Folder and Emiliano Grilo were included in six under -U -4.
Susanon’s Loan Tour win is 2022 RSM classic. The 31 -year -old Canada ends a top 25 in 21 this season and has lost 11 deductions.
“I did a great range session today. Really amazing, I created a group of breakers. This was probably my best competition I had ever done,” said Susanon, who only needed 25 pots, which included about 40 40 feet on the 11th hole and 34 ft.
The best 60 of his career is the second lowest score in the PGA tour this season. Jack Canop shot 59 in Koginzant Classic in February.
