Lahore, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July 2025) The Virtual Center for Child Safety, launched under the Punjab Saf Cities Authority (PSCA) for the protection and welfare of children, has completed its first year with remarkable success.
In the first announcement report of the Authority here on Saturday, more than 35,000 missing children were virgin with their families in the last one year.
Dedicated Child Welfare Forum, Mera Paira, resumed more than 73,000 cases in its opening years. Of these, 13,356 complaints led the FIR that legal action was taken where necessary. Additionally, more than 65,000 cases were resolved using the authority’s advanced artificial intelligence system, reducing the time of investment and improving the pupil.
Under the purview of child protection and misuse, 1,825 accused individuals were arranged, and more than 3,000 firms were registered. To further increase child safety and accelerate the identity process, two innovative equipment, my paying service and facial identification system, were introduced.
These techniques have played an important role in timely identification and recovery of children.
In addition, the data of more than 1,400 abandoned children kept in welfare institutions has been integrated into my Piera system. For PSCA spokesperson, work is going on in efforts to connect the data from Pakistan to a centralized Mera Pyara database, which is expanding the access and effectiveness of the platform.
Throughout the year, awareness campaigns against the rejection, violence and exploitation of the child were safely run to edit the pubrika and encourage reporting of time through social media by Safe City Authority.
Citizens are urged that they are reported or abandoned by dialing 15 and pressing 3, which directly reached the virtual center for child safety.
