August is a strange time of the year. This is one of the among those where mentally, we can proceed in the next season-but in many ways, we are not even ready to end summer. Many people take their holidays this month, which means that your hometown or city can be completely empty. Remember before you disappoint: It’s a good thing! There are still a lot of things in August to take advantage of calm before the busy storm of fall.

August can be a personal moment to taste the last long days of summer. Our bucket list of things to do in August is a delicious lazy (yes, we are really asking you to sleep). Because even though you graduated a decade ago-or for a long time, the back-to-school season still converts us all into its busy speed. August is our last occasion how to contact us every day. I encourage you to take a nap in the sun when possible, whenever you whisper, walk, and take all your food out.

31 things to do in August

After all, sometimes despite unbearable heat, summer is a taste season. I always want to really bend myself in this time of the year, I wish I could stop the time for a moment. And when I love comfortable weather – and when the wind becomes crisp, hug it completely – I have learned to take maximum advantage of every moment. Summer does not last forever, so read for ideas that you have been abandoned.

Keep scrolling for 31 things in August. Our bucket list is fulfilled with ideas to keep you inspired every day of the month. Get ready to enjoy every minute – August will go into a flash.

1-4 August

1. Plan for the next month. What is better than a little life mapping? Take out your vision board from the beginning of the year and check in a mid-year. Celebrate your victory, consider what it echoes now, and perhaps conspiracy to achieve some new goals.

2. Hug a new welfare ritual. We asked our favorite female fitness founders to share the routines and practices that make them feel their best. Stole his advice.

3. Design the backyard of your dream. Whether you have a huge place or two (hi, me) decorating a small balcony – you have covered the ideas of this backyard.

4. Meet a friend for coffee and walk. As I have grown up, I have learned how much I love to hold on coffee and our steps. Trust me: It is much more fun than shouting at a crowded bar.

5. Upgrade your afternoon breakfast. A reminder that can benefit from making every part of your life a little romantic – your PM snack. I am suffering from these high-protein snacks and you know that I have this spicy corn toast.

6. Clean a speed. I like to set an alarm for 45 minutes, wash your clothes, and see how much I can do.

7. Make a mid -week cake. Just because! This strawberry cake with Mascarpone Creme takes some steps, but trust me: it may not be easy. I am also obsessed with this strawberry cruel olive oil cake – for sweets, a snack, breakfast …

8. Send friends postcard. I like to have a stockpile of cards and postcards so that whenever the will attack, I can send a sweet note to friends and family. Write a sweet and simple note – it will mean a lot.

9. Start asking better questions. I will just leave these 250, I will never have questions. They so fun.

10. Take a road trip. This is Saturday, so go somewhere! I live in Chicago, and I like to choose a small town within an hour’s drive to spend a few hours. Take coffee and hold lunch, shop, and enjoy taking it in the attraction of a cool, sleepy suburb.

11. Let yourself sleep. You deserve it! Although it is not ideal to do every weekend (having a habit can make your sleep cycle mess seriously), I think there is nothing more than getting a few extra hours and feeling refreshed. Bonus points if you take your coffee back to bed.

12. A task that scares you. Send lessons, book a journey, or jump – whatever it means for you. It is not about being careless or intimidating yourself completely. Instead, it is encouraging you to do something you are shut down, and it will feel How good Once you do it.

13. Do a thing that makes you feel extra comfortable. Now that you have done something that makes you out of your comfort zone, reward yourself with a comfortable-cosmic activity. In my list? Spend the night to read with your cats, make my favorite dinner and spend the afternoon in working by the pool.

14. Hug the Italian method of summer. With the seasoning of the season, there is no better time to make most of these fleeting sunny days. Pick up a copy of my new favorite coffee table book: Sweets do nothingIts pages are filled with grand pictures of the southern coast of Italy – known for its fashion and lifestyle. Expected to be inspired.

15. Create an end-of-samar playlist. I have done our Casa Zuma playlist when I repeat since June, but you welcome it to customize it as per your choice. Ether hug the magical vibes that feel that it presents this time of the year. (Sufjan Stevens, Jungle, and Dominic Fiks are my current fountains.)

16. Invite friends for an impromptu dinner party. Add some snacks, order or make these quick and congested chicken fajitas-and ask friends to bring alcohol. Remember: The goal of a gathering is to enjoy beautiful, amazing people in your life. So don’t stress it!

17. Go Estate Cell Shopping. The treasure on these under-radars sales is lazy. Consult our property sale shopping guide for all of you.

18. Take yourself back to school shopping. Yes, even if you graduated years ago. Cute pencils and pens, a new planner, and perhaps what is more fun than giving some add to your vision board.

22. Call your mother. I know it is on your list (because yes, it is also mine). This is the easiest mood-bust.

23. Kick the weekend with a new summer cocktail. These are our favorite Warm-Vedar cocktails that we consider before the summer over. (Or try these non-alcohol shorts, which are heat in a glass.)

24. Start planning your fall capsule wardrobe. Although it is still hot and we’ll probably not wear sweaters for another and one and a half months, you can start scoring Pinterest for inspiration, love pieces together, and can make place in your cell for some new items to invest.

25. Go to swim While I was better about it in 2024, in the previous years, it would reach the end of summer and I would realize that I had not yet jumped into a body of water. If you are so, then take this Sunday as an excuse to jump into the lake, pool, ocean-AnythingAnd if you already have, do it again. Swimming is a lifetime happiness.
