Rawalpindi, (Urduupoint / Pakistan Point News – 26th July, 2025) The Rawal Town Police has conducted an investment operation against gambling, resulting in detection of 17 gamblers.
Police spokesperson, Sadikabad police was arrested successfully and Rs 15,120, 06 mobile phones were arrested from their possession.
In a separate operation, the Waris Khan Police caught eight gamblers involved in equal betting activities. The police also seized the Rs 10,000 playing card used in gaming.
SP Rawal Muhammad Haseeb Raja ordered the police teams for their fast action and as part of the need for zero-turez towards gambling. He commented, “Gambling is the root cause of many social evils.
We are committed to taking strict legal action against those involved in such illegal activities. ,
SP Raja further assured that all the fallen sockets would be presented before the courts to send accountability and justice.
